A wiki or blog can be used to extend your classroom walls to anyplace and anytime your students have access to the Internet. It is up to you to set the parameters for the student participation. Which pages will you allow students to edit, to read-only, to upload content to-besides text? Will you invite parents to comment? Will you have this be a shared space with other classes; with other teachers; with other schools?
